Japanese Language Speech Contest

Japanese Language Speech Contest

March 29, 2016

On March 26 at the Kyrgyz National 好色tv, AUCA students Lu Tian (ECO-114) and Malianchinova Khamida (JMC-112) participated in Japanese Language Speech Contest, which is annually organised by Japanese Language Teachers Association of the Kyrgyz Republic. Unlike the 鈥渧eterans鈥 of the contest - Bishkek Humanities 好色tv and Kyrgyz Republic Japanese Center, AUCA students were involved into this event for the first time.听

Thirty two participants from all Japanese language learning institutions were giving a speech (entirely in Japanese) in front of 200 people.

One of the participants, Khamida, has received the special prize from juries for her speech performance.

鈥淟earning the speech for the first time was challenging, but still very fun. It was a good experience for me. I dedicated my speech to the most precious person in my life and enjoyed the fact that the speech was in Japanese. I am thankful to Dinara-sensei for her sincere support鈥 - says Khamida.

鈥淚 feel very honored to participate in this contest. Although I didn't win the first price, but through this contest, I gained a valuable experience. I hope I can have the opportunity to challenge again next year鈥 - comments Lu Tian.

The idea of the Speech Contest is the promotion of learning the Japanese language and encouragement of students to speak on favorite topics in it. Besides the speech part, students are welcome to demonstrate their singing and dancing for the guest.

Other AUCA students from Japanese language course also took part in the event, singing Japanese song 鈥淪ekai ni hitotsu dake no hana鈥.

Omorova Dinara, AUCA Japanese teacher says:

鈥淚 am very satisfied with our students鈥 performance and desire to learn Japanese language. This year only two AUCA students were allowed to participate. I hope, that next year, we can send more for this kind of contests鈥
