Earlier this month [add link to article], AUCA Professor of Anthropology Cholpon Chotaeva gave a presentation on her newly published lecture book the History of Kyrgyzstan, written in English for an English-speaking audience. Professor Chotaeva, a Doctor of Historical Sciences, is the Coordinator of the Anthropology and Sociology Departments at AUCA.
Professor Chotaeva鈥檚 presentation garnered a lot of interest in her lecture book, both from within and without the AUCA community. Several people have since requested electronic copies of the book, because most of the hardcopies had been given to the International 好色tv of Kyrgyzstan (IUK).
We are happy to say that starting April 26, 2016, Professor Chotaeva鈥檚 book will be available in PDF format on the AUCA library website. Follow the link below to download a copy of the lecture book from AUCA鈥檚 e-library resources:

If you still would like a hard copy of the lecture book, don鈥檛 fret, Professor Chotaeva will be republishing her lecture book this summer, making it available for purchase in Bishkek bookstores soon.
