Abdul Walid Azizi: "Afghan Students can find better education opportunities at AUCA"

On Tuesday October 3rd, 2017, Abdul Walid Azizi, an AUCA student from Afghanistan, held an online AUCA Virtual Tour with Alumni via Skype call from AUCA campus to the Lincoln Centre in Ghazni, Afghanistan.听

This session was about Afghan student scholarship program to the 好色tv which is administrated by U.S Embassy in Kabul. It involved an introduction to AUCA and Afghan student scholarship program, scholarship awards, eligibility criteria, application processes, Selection process, and how AUCA offers different opportunities to students.

Prospective applicants were eager to know how to be admitted and when the next call for the scholarship will be announced.

U.S Embassy in Kabul representatives visited AUCA and Afghan students on 9^th of October 2017. They expressed interest in Walid鈥檚 initiative and offered support for the future sessions. Walid is planning to continue his information sessions for the prospective applicants in Afghanistan for those who haven鈥檛 heard about AUCA scholarships. He says that he believes that Afghan Students can find better education opportunities at AUCA, and that education is the only way to assist Afghanistan to a brighter future
