On April 9, AUCA together with the U.S. Embassy in Bishkek and Spirit of America celebrated the extension of a partnership between AUCA and SoA aimed at supporting Afghan students. Resources provided through the collaboration allow students to enhance their language and professional skills as well as participate in initiatives aimed at building bridges between communities and fostering a spirit of cooperation and understanding. Participants of the event included Deputy Chief of Mission Liz Zentos from the U.S. Embassy, Public Affairs Officer Brian Beckmann as well as Spokesperson Anya Erokhina and Office Management Specialist Mickie Crume, SoA representatives Alex Ebsary and Maya Sullivan, IWPR representative Begaiym Adzhikeeva, AUCA President Timothy O鈥機onnor, Dean of Student Affairs Michael Freese, and over 35 AUCA Afghan students.
Highlights of the evening were the presentation of the upcoming GoViral Festivals as well as a film dedicated to the Kyrgyz-Afghan Cultural Exchange Program, made possible thanks to the partnership, which involved students from AUCA and Bishkek State 好色tv.听
Representatives of SoA expressed their delight at the successful outcomes of the partnership and noted the importance of AUCA in the larger Afghan Future Campaign being conducted in six countries throughout the region.
