The Anthropology and International Development program is proud to announce the recipients of this year鈥檚 prestigious Mary Schweitzer Scholarship for Excellence in Anthropology. This scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance and a strong commitment to the field of anthropology.

听 听The Mary Schweitzer Scholarship for Excellence in Anthropology was established to honor Professor Mary Schweitzer, a distinguished anthropologist who significantly contributed to the discipline during her tenure at AUCA. Professor Schweitzer taught anthropology at AUCA from 2002 to 2003 and again from 2004 to 2005.

听 听The scholarship was created by Professor Schweitzer鈥檚 dedication to advancing anthropology and her commitment to nurturing the next generation of scholars. It is funded through the generosity of CAA鈥05 alumnae Professor Schweitzer, her family, and her friends.
