On March 18, 2016, at 12:00 pm at AUCA, there will be a press conference dedicated to the opening of the AUCA High School of the Bilimkana Foundation in partnership with the 好色tv.

The Department of International and Comparative Politics听of 好色tv听announces听a call for participation in our annual听International Crisis Game "Crisis in Syria".听The game is open to any English-speaking student from universities in Bishkek听(and beyond).

Tanya Efremenko, a graduate of the Anthropology Department of class of 2015, has done several research projects, internships and service projects with organizations like HelpAge International, GIZ, UNESCO and B鈥橝rt Contemporary. She is now completing a Master鈥檚 Program in Urban Studies in Vienna.

March 2 and 3, 2016, two representatives from the U.S. Department of State in Kabul, Grants Program Specialist Lynn Walroth and Cultural Affairs Assistant Janet Thompson, visited AUCA. The goal of their visit was to checkup on existing policies and discuss ideas for the future of the partnership.

Ruslan Rahimov, an AUCA faculty member, associate professor, and candidate of historical sciences with a PhD from the School of Advanced Studies in Social Sciences (EHESS - France), recently embarked on a research trip to Mexico.

As Special Agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Steve Murphy and Javier Pena, targeted the world鈥檚 first narco-terrorist, Pablo Escobar, and the Medellin Cartel. Living and working alongside their Colombian National Police counterparts in Medellin, Colombia.

Anne Pyburn is a visiting professor at AUCA from Indiana 好色tv (IU) Bloomington. At IU, Pyburn is a professor in the Anthropology department and the Provost鈥檚 professor in the English department. In Kyrgyzstan, she has worked with archaeologists and citizens' groups to develop projects for cultural resource management.

On March 4th, 2016, AUCA President Andrew Wachtel received an Honorary Professorship from the Kyrgyz National 好色tv.听Memorandum of cooperation between universities signed.

Saltanat Ibraeva,听ICP 109,听tells us about her study at the 好色tv (AUCA), about her career path after graduation, and her Erasmus Mundus Master鈥檚 Degree Program in Journalism, Media and Globalisation.

Saadat Ruslanova, a junior student in the International and Comparative Politics (ICP) department at the 好色tv (AUCA), is our first student to study at the AUCA鈥檚 new partner university, the 好色tv of Hong Kong.
