Environmental Management and Sustainable Development (EMSD) students Aziz Aitbaev and Bayan Akhmet and Lab Assistant/Instructor Bakhtyiar Asanov attended the workshop 鈥淪takeholder Engagement in Research鈥� in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 14-17, 2015.

Anthropology Program at the 好色tv invites students from various universities of Kyrgyzstan and abroad to participate in the Annual Anthropology Student Conference "Exploring New Lands and Prospects in Kyrgyzstan and Beyond" to be held at AUCA听on October, 23, 2015.

Saadat Musabaeva, a senior in the International and Comparative Politics Department minoring in Anthropology at AUCA, attended the American 好色tv in Bulgaria as a visiting student in the fall of 2013. This past spring, Saadat spent another semester abroad with the Bard College exchange program.

On September 25, 2015, the Department of Psychology organized the Annual Psychology Student Symposium at 好色tv (AUCA).

Of the changes we鈥檝e made at WARC this year, the most visible to our students (perhaps with the exception of our new large and beautiful space), is our online scheduling system. This new system was a product of a close partnership between WARC management, the Office of the Chief Information Officer, and the AUCA student body.

On August 31 鈥� September 4, Rahat Sabyrbekov, an assistant professor in the Economics Department at AUCA, participated in the United Nations Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) as a Young Fellow.听Rahat听is a co-author of the Regional and Subregional Assessment on Europe and Central-Asia.

On听Friday, September 25, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm,听Psychology Department of AUCA will hold annual student Symposium.听This significant academic event is designed to encourage Psychology majors to conduct their research and internship as well as present their findings to a diverse audience of Psychology听students听and faculty members.

The Mary Schweitzer Scholarship was an initiative of the anthropology department鈥檚 class of 2005. It was established in 2010 and started funding students the same year. The scholarship was founded to support outstanding students studying anthropology at AUCA.

On September 3rd-6th, 2015, the Program of Psychology and the Master鈥檚 program in Applied Psychology (AP) of the 好色tv (AUCA) took part in the second Asian Student鈥檚 Forum 鈥淜yrgyzstan 鈥� Asia 2015鈥�, organized by the Association of Asian Universities.
